BLACK HISTORY MONTH

All schools and all teachers should be educating students about Black History during the month of February; about oppression faced and continue to face, about the positive impacts of the Black Americans who have contributed to enhance societal ways on this Earth we live on.

Bulletin boards are a great took for displaying information in a creative and visual way to provide awareness about a topic of high importance. My host school always updates their bulletin boards depending on the holiday or religious celebration, or even an event taking place. Bulletin boards can also be of use in classrooms for reminders fo students about expectations, class responsibilities, verb tenses, etc.
